Mayor and Council

The job of the Mayor is to be the ceremonial head of government, to run the administrative functions of the town, and to continuously improve all aspects of our governing body—how Council operates, how Town Hall connects with residents and businesses, how departments and employees fulfill their missions, and how we collaborate to solve problems.

The Mayor should foster an environment where good ideas can be heard and explored with productive conversations.

We are not doing our job if we do not do it within a framework that is respectful of municipal law and the need for integrity. This is especially true when it comes to our fiduciary responsibilities.
